The teacher will yell at her face right at the moment she opens the door. Having one eye on the watch and one eye on the doorknob, she took a big gulp, turned it slowly, and opened the door. As she entered the room, this time unexpectedly silent, there was a shady fog in the classroom. She soundlessly walked toward a seat. Well, where is everyone? It was too silent and everything perfectly organized, it almost seemed eerie to her. Though curious of everyone’s absence in the room, she quickly glanced at the clock on the wall, shrugged away--I guess my watch was wrong and I’m actually ahead of time! She was so glad as it was her first time being on time to class-Yes, I have made on time! Not knowing what to do, she picks up the Macbook laptop, checks if the internet was connected. Would the high school counselor by chance, watching my laptop screen right now? Hope not! Nonchalant as she was, she logged on MSN.
Wow, this sounds just like your life Sarah. :D I thought the story was interesting in a way that many people can relate to it. The build up from opening the door to walking inside the classroom was well done. How you ended the story just left me hanging. You should have ended it stronger with maybe the character getting caught online or the teacher coming in. Something to change the calm atmosphere. It would have wrapped up the story much smoother. - Mady :)
